The biggest issue today is jobs. In these times we must relieve businesses of excessive regulatory constraints that cost them money that can lead to additional job cuts.

I have worked diligently with regional economic development groups and business entities to create a better environment for businesses to move to Douglas County. In the past four years we have we have streamlined our processes in many areas giving businesses the gift of time and significant cost savings.

Economic development is one of the County’s key goals and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to retaining existing businesses and attracting in new businesses to ensure our citizens have jobs.
