Open Space, Trails & Recreation

In the past four years I have supported the acquisition of 1000s of acres of Open Space and Conservation Easements. I am committed to continuing to support any and all efforts to obtain additional open space.

In addition, I believe our children come first.

As a past youth sports coach I know how difficult to was to drive to other communities to play and practice. Families are driving their children to other communities, like Aurora, to practice and play games.

It doesn't have to be that way

I am committed to do whatever I can to add more open space and recreational opportunities for Douglas County families. To get the biggest bang for our tax dollars we must have joint programs with other groups and municipalities so all of our citizens have the services they deserve.
