Douglas County's finances have been managed in a truly fiscally conservative manner.

In fact, we serve two times more unincorporated residents per employee then any of the large ten counties in the state.

Douglas County has not increased taxes (mil levy) for 22 years. Yet, we continue to cut spending and operate on a cash and carry basis.
